Toolroom/Manual Machinist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Toolroom/Manual Machinist to join a leading vehicle restoration company based in North Bedfordshire. In return we offer a competitive salary, overtime paid at time & half. 20 Days holiday plus the statutory entitlement.

There is onsite parking & a purpose built workshop enviroment based in a lovely rural location.

The toolroom/Manual Machinist will assist with the mechanical restoration of engines, gearboxes, magnetos, dynamos, instruments, electrical switch gear & carburation.

The successful Toolroom/Manual Machinist candidate will have the following:

• Previous experience working with mechanical engineering
• Turning, machining, precision engineering experience.
• General interest in vintage cars.
• A desire to learn & adapt.
• Professional attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• A clean & organised approach to working.
