- Originating and executing M&A and strategic advisory mandates across the European insurance market
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with C-suite executives, boards, shareholders, private equity investors, and other senior market participants
- Developing and converting a strong pipeline of advisory opportunities into revenue-generating mandates
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, disposals, capital structure matters, and broader corporate finance topics
- Leading transaction teams and overseeing the successful execution of mandates from origination through to completion
- Collaborating with colleagues across industry and product teams to deliver integrated client solutions
- Mentoring and developing junior bankers while helping to build a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture
- Representing the firm in the market and contributing to the continued growth of the European Insurance franchise
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record as a senior Investment Banking professional covering the Insurance sector
- Established relationships with key decision-makers across the European insurance market, including insurers, brokers, MGAs, reinsurers, and private equity investors
- Demonstrable history of originating and generating significant fee income through M&A and strategic advisory transactions
- Strong reputation and market presence within the European Insurance ecosystem
- Deep understanding of industry dynamics, consolidators, strategic acquirers, and investor appetite across the sector
- Extensive experience leading complex transaction processes and managing senior client relationships
- Strong commercial instincts with a proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
