We’re looking for a Digital Conversion Optimisation Manager to join Darwin as part of the DLG Commercial & Customer Value (CCV) function on a permanent full-time basis!

The digital assets are owned and managed by a 3rd party vendor and so you will manage change externally, however, be responsible for the design, user experience and specification for such changes.

You will need excellent experience tracking performance using Google Analytics and delivering A/B testing using Google Optimiser!

Who you’ll be working with:

Darwin is a motor Insurance company focused on the Price Comparison Website channel (PCWs). It is our intention to grow the business to significant market share within the next 5 years. To do this we are using machine learning modelling coupled with a bespoke technology solution to deliver in-market pricing that can be flexed according to daily market trading conditions. We are growing rapidly, with over 80,000 customers to date and are rated one of the most trusted UK insurance brands on Trustpilot.

You’ll work cross functionally within the Darwin Run & Scale Agile “Squad”. The squad is tasked with delivering customer and commercial excellence for Darwin.

What you’ll be doing

Darwin is a PCW product, so the majority of our customers are introduced in this way. This role will ‘own’ the digital sales funnel to maximise the conversion of these ‘leads’ to sales by testing and deploying changes accordingly. (land-to-sale)

The role will also be responsible for the development of the brochureware, direct quote and buy journey, land-to-sale and customer portal including: Design, User experience / functionality, Product development, Underwriting criteria, Regulatory requirements, Brand authority and brand development.

Gather insight and data to actively keep track of the PCW market and give direction for product and customer journey improvements

Understand the performance of all the data assets

Deliver change via 3rd party provider to deliver commercial benefit whilst ensuring customer focused and compliant with current regulation

Have a passion for digital journeys and have an active interest in the Motor Insurance sector

Adept at delivering change through external parties

Previous experience within personal lines insurance, a start-up or an online retailer is preferred

Embrace agile principals and process’s

Experience of UX tools such as sessioncam, hotjar and mouseflow, and experience of PPC / on-line marketing is a bonus!
