Role summary

• You will be the Deputy Executive Director at IPPR, a UK thinktank.
• You will help lead the organisation and make sure we reach our goals.
• You will support the Executive Director and senior team.
• This role is full time and based in London, with some remote work allowed.

Skills and experience

• Experience in senior leadership within thinktanks, charities, or similar.
• Good at leading and developing teams and managing performance.
• Know how to lead research and policy that influences politics.
• Understand UK politics and policymaking well.
• Experience in fundraising and working with funders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Support IPPR’s mission and value teamwork and inclusion.

Location and workplace

• Based in London, near Westminster.
• At least 40% of work hours should be in the office.
• Flexible and part remote working is possible.
