Role summary

You will help pupils, school staff, and local people travel in healthy ways.
You will work for 12 months in Glasgow.
You will support schools and local authorities to get more walking, wheeling, and cycling.

Key tasks

Plan and run projects that encourage active travel.
Work with schools and community groups to support these projects.
Help people learn about walking, wheeling, and cycling.
Build good working relationships with partners.

Skills and experience

Have about 3 years work experience, including with community groups.
Know about walking, wheeling, and cycling.
Understand challenges some communities face.
Can run workshops and give presentations.
Good at organising and managing time.
Work safely to protect children and adults at risk.

Pay and hours

Full-time work: 37.5 hours per week.
Salary is £29,835 per year (lower if part time).
Flexible working can be discussed.

Location and workplace

Job is based in Glasgow.
You will meet people in schools and community places.
Interviews will be online using Microsoft Teams.
