Role summary

Help staff use NRW’s digital document systems.
Manage and configure these systems every day.
Support Records Management team to meet rules about records.
Flexible work with a mix of office and home working.
Meetings and training planned in advance.

Key tasks

Fix complex problems with document systems.
Manage user access and system settings.
Share and update rules and guides for using systems.
Create and run training sessions and webinars.
Advise staff on managing records by law.
Help improve records projects and tools.
Follow health and safety rules.
Support Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies.

Skills and experience

Know about records management rules and practice.
Good understanding of digital document systems like Office 365 and SharePoint.
Able to use system admin tools (helpful but not always needed).
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
Experience running training sessions face to face or online.
Good at helping and supporting customers.
Understand the laws governing records.

Pay and hours

Start at first point on pay scale with yearly raises.
Benefits include pension, 28 to 33 days leave, and wellbeing support.
Flexible working hours.

Location and workplace

You will work near your home in a NRW office.
Hybrid work: mix of home and office.
Meetings will be planned ahead.
