Role Summary

Key Tasks

Manage a global team that builds and improves detection logic.
Work with leaders to set goals and technology plans.
Make sure detection is better than others in the market.
Support senior engineers who manage detection teams for tools like EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), NDR (Network Detection and Response), and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management).
Work with other teams to get good inputs for improving detection.
Help teams provide clear info to clients about detection coverage.
Use data science to improve attack detection and alert handling.

Skills and Experience

Experience with detection engineering and MXDR technologies like SIEM and EDR.
Experience working in global, multicultural, and changing environments.
Good communication skills for talking with clients and coworkers.
Knowledge of data science applied to cyber security is helpful.
Leadership skills to support all team members.
Helpful skills: experience with tools like Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Carbon Black, Splunk, and knowledge of forensics or incident response.
