Role summary

You will check health and safety in workplaces.
You will find risks and learn from accidents.
You will help improve safety for 3,600 staff.
You will work with managers and teams to keep everyone safe.

Key tasks

Look at health and safety systems in detail.
Check accident data and causes.
Make action plans for managers.
Train and support staff about safety.
Work with others to improve safety culture.

Skills and experience

You have a Level 6 NVQ or NEBOSH (health & safety diploma).
You have worked in health & safety before in large organisations.
You can do inspections and audits well.
You know health & safety laws.
You are confident, calm, and work well with many people.

Pay and hours

Salary is from £42,912 to £57,495 per year, depending on experience.
You will work 36 hours each week.
This is a permanent job.

Location and workplace

You will work at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London.
The council supports flexible and agile working.
