Role Summary

Help make streets safer and nicer for walking, wheeling, and cycling.
Work with schools and communities in the North and Midlands of England.
Job lasts until March 31, 2027.

Key Tasks

Plan and run projects to encourage walking, wheeling, and cycling.
Work with local leaders and groups to improve public spaces.
Support and guide team members and volunteers.

Skills and Experience

Experience working with children and young people in schools and communities.
Understand the problems in communities that face inequality.
Know how to keep people safe and manage risks.
Good talking and writing skills.
Can solve problems and work well alone.
Can motivate and help others.
Work well in a team and build good relationships.
Keep children, young people, and vulnerable adults safe.

Pay and Hours

Full time 37.5 hours a week.
£29,835 per year (less if part time).
Flexible working is possible.

Location and Workplace

Based in Sefton, Merseyside.
Travel to schools and communities as needed.
