Role summary

Lead the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
HCPC is a big UK group that checks health workers.
The Chair helps protect the public by guiding HCPC.
The Chair works with the team to follow plans and rules.
The Chair talks with people across the UK and other places.
You need to be a good leader and make fair decisions.

Key tasks

Lead the Council and support the Chief Executive.
Help the HCPC follow its plans from 2026 to 2031.
Make sure the HCPC works well for everyone.
Be the public face of HCPC and build trust.
Support fairness, diversity, and inclusion.
Manage meetings and help make big decisions.

Skills and experience

Have big experience leading important groups.
Be a strong thinker and good at planning.
Be able to work with people from all over the UK.
Be a clear talker and good listener.
Be calm when under pressure and can handle tough questions.

Pay and hours

Location and workplace

Meetings happen in the London office.
You will work with people from England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
