Role summary

You will be the Head of Policy and Standards for pensions dashboards.
This means you help make rules for how the pensions system works online.
You will make sure the service follows the law and protects people’s data.
You report to the Service Owner and work with policy, rules, and technology.

Key tasks

Turn government and pension laws into clear rules.
Lead the standards for working with the pensions dashboard system.
Work with regulators like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and The Pensions Regulator (TPR).
Approve companies that join the pensions platform and check they follow the rules.
Lead on data protection and ethics, including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Find and manage risks to protect users and public trust.

Skills and experience

Experience working with UK regulators such as FCA or TPR.
Good at making rules and checking services follow them.
Able to explain laws and policies simply for delivery teams.
Know about data protection rules like GDPR.
Good at working with many people across government and industry.
Understands technical details of digital platforms.
Good at managing risks and paying attention to detail.

Pay and hours

The job is a senior leadership role (Head of).
Hours and pay are set but not specified here.

Location and workplace

You will work mostly nationally (all over the UK).
You will spend 4 days each month working in Bedford.
