Role Summary

Help the organisation buy things in the right way.
Follow rules called Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
Work with the procurement team to save money and make buying easier.

Key Tasks

Manage buying projects from start to finish.
Work with other teams and suppliers to get price and service info.
Keep track of contracts in the organisation's system.
Help prepare documents for buying projects called tenders.
Support the Head of Procurement and share knowledge across the team.

Skills and Experience

Know about buying and contracts, especially in public sector.
Good with computers like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Can work well with different people inside and outside the organisation.
Good at solving problems and paying attention to details.
Preferred: Qualification from Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.

Pay and Hours

30 days holiday plus option to buy more days.

Location and Workplace

Based in Birmingham city centre office.
Work partly from office and partly from home (hybrid working).
