Role summary

Help plan and protect the environment in Wales.
Work with planning authorities and developers.
Give advice about land use, building, and environmental risks.
Make sure plans are good for people and nature.

Key tasks

Talk to planners and developers about projects.
Check plans for housing, energy, transport, and farming.
Work with experts on wildlife, water, air, and land issues.
Write clear advice to support good decision-making.

Skills and experience

Know about environmental science, planning, or sustainability.
Be good at working with others.
Have strong skills in organisation and communication.
Care about protecting the environment.

Pay and hours

Pay details will be given during the application.
Flexible working is supported.
You will work partly from home and partly in the office.

Location and workplace

Based in the NRW office in Cardiff, Wales.
Work can be from home as agreed.
Meetings and training will happen online or in the office.
