Role summary

Help protect land, rivers, and seas in Wales.
Work with farmers to make plans that help nature.
You will help meet a goal to protect 30% of land and water by 2030.
The job is with Natural Resources Wales (NRW).

Key tasks

Make plans for protected sites.
Give advice about conservation and site rules.
Work with others to protect nature and wildlife.
Help with water quality and environmental problems.
Visit remote sites to check and give permits.
Use your driving license to travel to different places.

Skills and experience

Knowledge of managing protected natural sites.
Able to give clear advice on conservation.
Good at working with others and making plans.
You must have a full and current UK driving license.

Pay and hours

This is a fixed-term job until 31 March 2027.
There may be a chance to stay longer.
Flexible working is supported.

Location and workplace

Office is in Buckley, North West Wales.
You will work partly from home and partly in the office.
You will travel to different natural sites.
