Role Summary

Help manage flood risk assets in Wales.
Work with a team to keep data correct.
Support efforts to protect people from flooding and erosion.
Learn and grow your skills in flood risk and data.

Key Tasks

Use the AMX Flood database to manage data.
Keep geographic information system (GIS) data up to date.
Help organise work for the flood asset management programme.
Support teams with data so they can check flood sites and asset conditions.
Learn to give technical advice and help with reports.

Skills and Experience

Interest in working with data and maps (GIS).
Want to build skills in asset management.
Enjoy learning and working with a team.
Good for people starting or growing their career.

Pay and Hours

Flexible working patterns.
You will agree on work times with the team.
Meet with team 3 to 4 times a year face to face.

Location and Workplace

Work from the nearest Natural Resources Wales (NRW) office to your home.
Part of a team spread across Wales.
Work partly from home and partly at the office.
