Role summary

This is unpaid work experience for students aged 15 or older.
It lasts one week starting 6 July 2026, with up to 25 hours.
You will work at our office in Bangor, Wales.
The role is Data and Records Assistant.
You will help with sorting and scanning documents.
You will learn about managing information and different work areas.

Key tasks

Sort documents to decide which to keep or destroy.
Scan documents and reports to save them digitally.
Organise image slides and prepare for scanning.
Check document titles for accuracy.
Help keep physical files organised and easy to find.
Learn about new data management systems.
Follow health and safety rules.
Support equal opportunities and diversity at work.

Skills and experience

Want to learn how to use scanning equipment.
Pay attention to detail and keep data correct.
Interested in environmental topics and our work.
Want office experience and can travel alone to work.
Ready to work well with others and grow confidence.

Pay and hours

This placement is unpaid.
You can work up to 25 hours in the one week.

Location and workplace

Our office is in Maes y Ffynnon, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor.
You will work with a friendly and supportive team.
The workplace supports learning Welsh language skills.
