Role Summary

Help design safe and easy places to walk, wheel, and cycle.
Use clear thinking, creativity, and technical skills.
Work with a team to make better streets and spaces.

Key Tasks

Manage small projects from start to finish.
Use smart and green design methods.
Make clear, accurate designs using design software.
Work with local people and partners to create good solutions.
Help write project proposals when asked.

Skills and Experience

Have a degree or 5 years’ experience in design or engineering.
Can use design software well.
Know about healthy streets and safe, inclusive design.
Understand safety rules for construction work.
Can keep children, young people, and adults safe.

Pay and Hours

Full time 37.5 hours per week.
Salary is £33,265 per year (less if part-time).
Flexible working is possible.

Location and Workplace

Hybrid work: partly at home, partly at nearest Walk Wheel Cycle Hub.
Work with a friendly, values-driven team.
