Salary: £42,500-£67,500/€64,000-€96,000 + car / allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

About the Role

Due to an expanding portfolio of projects we are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team to have technical oversight of the development, construction, maintenance and decommissioning of onshore wind projects across the UK and Ireland.  The successful candidate will manage a team of Civil Engineers, maintain and update internal technical specifications to ensure the business continues to develop industry leading projects with a focus on whole life costs of Civil Infrastructure as we drive to deliver the Renewable power needed to reach net zero.

Some of your other main accountabilities may include:

Technical Authority for Civil related infrastructure associated with our onshore wind portfolio.
Developing and managing a team of Civil Engineers working on onshore wind projects. 
Maintaining and developing internal technical standards as they apply to onshore wind projects.
Assisting in the resolution of key technical challenges.
What do I need?

While having experience in the development and construction of onshore wind projects would be a benefit it is not considered essential, what you will need is an understanding how to develop and deliver Civil Infrastructure projects.  If you are looking for an opportunity to get involved in Renewables and have a wide range of technical knowledge across other civil developments we can provide the opportunity, mentoring and training required.

Ideally you will have some experience of managing a team and third-party consultants or contractors.  Have the ability to prepare scopes of work and have a knowledge of  industry technical specifications, contracts and best practice.
Experience in working with other Engineering disciplines to ensure a coordinated approach as well as experience in working with statutory bodies would be beneficial.
Ideally you will be a Chartered Civil Engineer, however we will consider candidates with suitable experience who have a clear route and plan to achieve this.
