Job Overview

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and communicative, experienced leader to join the BMA as Head of Professional Policy and Activities.

Reporting into a BMA Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for championing professional policy activitie s within the BMA and will lead and support the development of policy in relation to professional matters, providing expert analysis and interpretation of current events to senior officials and Council.

The role works closely with all parts of the Association, most importantly the Chair of Council, Committee Chairs (both branch of practice and, professional and specialist committees), the Communications and Policy Directorate, the National Negotiations and Representation department, the Legal Department, Member Relations, and the Directors of the devolved nation offices.
