Empowering customers to live rewarding and happy lives. That’s when it hits home.
At Home Group it’s critical we continue to deliver services for our customers during the COVID-19 outbreak, and our awesome colleagues are at the very heart of making that happen. We need Brilliant People like you to join us (and not just during this challenging time). We are doing things a little differently at the moment, so to keep you, our customers and ourselves safe we’ll engage with you digitally where possible.
We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team working with 5 homeless young people. We support our brilliant customers who are all 16 and 17 years old and who have previously been in a care setting (either residential or foster care) or who have become homeless due to issues within their family environment.
They live in a 5 bedroom house in Norwich. Each customer has their own bedroom and they share the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms.
We help our customers by developing a package of support that suits each customer’s individual needs. Our aim to prepare each customer to live safely and independently before they move on from our care. We offer any support that will prepare and enable our young people to live independent lives. This may include things such as practical support learning how to cook and clean, budgeting, claiming benefits, advice on education, employment and training, developing social skills and providing emotional support.
