Role Summary

This is a volunteer role as a Trustee (a person who helps guide a charity).
You will help the Nationwide Foundation, a charity that works to fix the housing crisis in the UK.
You will have meetings in London and some online work.
You need to give around one day each month to the role.

Key Tasks

Join a team of experienced Trustees and a Chief Executive to make important decisions.
Help plan and check that the charity is doing good work.
Give advice based on your knowledge and experience.
Help the charity grow and have a bigger impact on housing.

Skills and Experience

Good judgement and practical thinking.
Understanding of how charities should be run well.
Experience with corporate trusts, investments, housing policy or housing delivery is a big plus.
Interest or experience in external affairs (how the charity talks with others) is helpful.
