People with a disability cross all racial, gender, educational, socio economic and organisational lines. In fact, it has only been in the last few decades that the government has removed some of these barriers and stigmas. According to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, there are about 1.3 million disabled people in Britain - that’s around one in five of the adult population.
We are pleased to be working with more employers to remove barriers, increase understanding and ensure that people with a disability have the opportunities to work.
