According to the Disability Rights Commission, there are about 1.3 million disabled people in Britain - that’s around one in five of the adult population.
Despite such a large number of disabled people in the country, the myth that they are not capable of doing the same jobs as their able-bodied counterparts still exists amongst employers. This means that many businesses are failing to meet their full potential because they deliberately overlook disabled applicants.
In 1- 30 June 2010, we again delivered a record number of visitors, with more than 698,000 page impressions (698,147) from a record 161,000+ (161,014) unique visitors.
