According to the Disability Rights Commission, there are about 10 million disabled people in Britain - that’s around one in five of the adult population.
Despite such a large number of disabled people in the country, the myth that they are not capable of doing the same jobs as their able-bodied counterparts still exists amongst employers. This means that many businesses are failing to meet their full potential because they deliberately overlook disabled applicants.
In April 2008, we again delivered a record number of visitors, with more than 728,000 page impressions (728,477) from a record 148,000+ (148,652) unique visitors.
