This means the employer has made some specific commitments regarding the employment of disabled people. As part of this, you are guaranteed an interview if you meet the minimum conditions for the job vacancy.

Employers who use the "Positive About Disabled People" symbol have made these five commitments: |

to ensure there is a mechanism in place to discuss,
at any time, but at least once a year, with disabled
employees, what you and they can do to make sure disabled
employees can develop and use their abilities
When you see the disability symbol on job advertisements
or on job application forms it means that if you meet the
minimum criteria for the job, the employer will guarantee
