The purpose of the Guaranteed Job Interview Scheme is to ensure quality of opportunity in employment, to meet the requirements of the first commitment of Disability symbol users and to ensure that the Employer conforms to the new legislation introduced under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. This applies to all posts and guarantees an interview to any applicant with a disability, who meets the essential selection criteria for a job.
